What is the Use of MS Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager developed by Microsoft. Ms Outlook Application is inbuilt inside MS Suite. When user install Microsoft office, by default all the application are installed that include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and many other application programs.

Microsoft Outlook store data in two formats that are PST and OST. PST stands for Personal storage table; Data are stored in PST format, when users synchronize MS Outlook with web based account such as gmail.

OST stands for Outlook storage table, OST files are created in MS Outlook when users synchronize MS Outlook with Exchange Server. MS Outlook only synchronizes with Microsoft Exchange server.

Why to use MS Outlook?

Many users may not get the complete idea of MS Outlook, User thought that when they can send emails directly through web based account(Gmail) then what is need to synchronize MS Outlook with Web based account.

I agree with the user thought they can send emails through web based account(gmail) directly. But sometimes user mailbox account data get so much large that user has to free some of its mailbox size, in such case user either have to delete emails from mailbox account or either user have to store emails somewhere else, but no mailbox account provide any option to download emails from mailbox account directly. To do this user have to use third party application, MS outlook is a third party application that provide the facility to the user to download emails directly and in the same format as they received or sent from mailbox account. MS Outlook provide so much many facility to the user that user can check its emails even when the internet connection is not available. It also provides the option to the user to send Emails to any particular date and time.
